Growing our confidence starts often with baby steps and sometimes asks us to take big leaps into the unknown.
It invites us to step into our unknowingness and feel all the big and small things that create a nervousness within our body.
To listen to what is present. To feel what might be luring at you from a corner and to which you might be afraid to turn towards to…
And yet, growing our confidence asks us to turn towards it. To face the little demons hidden in the most seemingly ordinary or insignificant choices, which can either break our self-esteem or from which we can grow in trusting in our ability to move through the fear and move from love.
Every time we choose to make a different choice, we grow a little. We give our body a new imprint and we create a new pathway within our mind. It is through this radical honesty with ourselves, where we learn to trust ourselves again. Where we make it safe for the wounded parts within ourselves to say ‘no’ and to say ‘yes’. Where we are creating space for intimacy with ourselves, with life, with this present moment. To open ourselves to trust ourselves to love and be loved again.
As we are learning to feel safe within ourselves, to be intimate with ourselves, our movements will be set in motion from within. Our choices and actions will be guided by this inner movement, this inner knowing that will never push you or force you, but will always lovingly invite you… To grow your confidence and move through the world with an undefended Heart.
